Precautionary Statements
- Toxic, Barium compounds cause central nervous system stimulation followed by central nervous system depression. Barium compounds cause stimulation of the muscles which may result in muscle twitching, cramps and weakness; blood pressure effects; disturbance of the heart's action and respiratory paralysis. Causes: thirst, abdominal pain, dizziness. Can cause: paralysis of tongue limb immobility death. - Target organs: cardiovascular system central nervous system. Muscles.
